The series was started by Jacob Stoller and Jonathan Krehm. Currently it is run by Roger Sharp and Jonathan Krehm. We exist and thrive because of the enthusiastic support of the St. Andrew by the Lake Congregation and our loyal audience of Toronto Islanders. In 2012 we added a second performance of our concerts in downtown Toronto.
Our Island performances are held on Sunday afternoons after an optional catered brunch at St. Andrew by the Lake . Our second performances in the city are held at St. George the Martyr Anglican Church at 197 John St (just south of the Grange Park).
We have a spectacular line up for this year’s Canzona Series, now in our seventeenth season. The gifted performers featured in this year’s series have travelled the globe as concert masters, Juno-award winners, and in demand touring musicians. This 2019/2020 Winter/Spring season they will come together to perform twice a month in two beautiful venues, for the entertainment of you, our wonderful audience – who make our series a special and welcoming place for Chamber musicians to present the music they so love.
